We are a leading recruitment agency specializing in placing top talent with multinational companies. Our client, a biotech giant, is seeking a Business Development Trainee to join their team in the UK market.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for learning all terminology related to our client's healthcare professionals and organizations (HCP/HCO) activities. This includes working on a project with international exposure and daily interaction with stakeholders in the United Kingdom.

The key tasks of this role include:

  • Collaborating with the Admins and Contracts team to process HCP/HCO end-to-end contracting activities using the Amgen Compliance tool;
  • Learning how to manage the end-to-end Purchase Orders (PO) process in Ariba;
  • Following-up on the invoicing process in SAP;
  • Supporting management of contract templates and transparency processes within our client's Transparency tool;
  • Recognizing and escalating problems or risks as and when they arise in line with business requirements;
  • Adapting, supporting, and contributing to the growth and continuous improvement of the Department.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in Health Management, Management, Public Administration, or a related field;
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel;
  • Attention to detail, ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights;
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with excellent interpersonal relationships;
  • Self-motivation, ability to work independently, and a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
