Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Product Growth Strategist to lead the product strategy, operations, and execution of the Lister Monetisation & Growth pillar for OLX. As a key member of the product team, you will develop and implement strategies to boost Listers' growth and drive revenue by providing integrated payment solutions, tailored monetisation products, and actionable insights and tools to enhance sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop product vision, strategies, and operating plans for Core in collaboration with the Director of Product.
  • Define business domain and product vision, ensuring teams understand and follow it.
  • Ensure company and department strategies and vision are understood and cascaded into your teams.
  • Project Management for group wide product initiatives in close collaboration with Principal and Staff Engineers.
  • Support the implementation and improvement of company programs, procedures, methods, processes, and practices.
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders to set the long-term product vision for the pillar in OLX Core Experience.
  • Shape and deliver the pillars' product proposition from concept to phasing out of functionality and product(s).
  • Develop go-to-market plans and work in alignment with commercial teams to implement them.
  • Analyze, identify, and quantify opportunities for new product features and new products.
  • Listen to and work back from customers.
  • Define success and establish metrics to measure effectiveness and drive improvements.
  • Continually monitor competitor and industry development.
  • Coach and develop the Product Management Team.
  • Ensure that Product Managers focus on product excellence, quality in all matters, and speed to market.
  • Monitor operational statistics, reports trends, variances, and issues.
  • Remove roadblocks and obstacles; manage interdependencies when needed.


Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in a Product Management role or related position in a high-traffic consumer internet or e-commerce company.
  • Demonstrated ability delivering technology products in a growth environment where priorities shift fast.
  • Experience in data-driven product development and applying A/B testing, user research, user testing, data analysis, competitor, and market analysis in decision making.
  • Proven product sense and judgment when working with product designers.
  • Previous experience in leading a team of product managers.
  • High customer focus, empathy, and passion for building products that improve the lives of customers.
