**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible to deliver Indirect Commodity Procurement budget for the commodity category assigned.
- Actively lead or participate in cost improvement initiatives.
- Development and execution of the Commodity Procurement strategy for M.R.O. Ensure strategic sourcing according to GKN Automotive standards.
- Manage regional or global tender resulting in the implementation of the awarded scenario.
- Contribute to market intelligence & best practices sharing and implementation for the commodity.
- Define, implement and track QCD / KPI objectives for the commodity.
- Manage and strengthen Supplier Relationship Management incl. Panel & Contract Management.
- Ensure transparancy and accuarcy of data in the Procurement Information System.
- Support CPD (Commodity Procurement Director) in achieving overall objectives, with dedicated analysis/reports (weekly/monthly) and in projects.
- Work close and align with business stakeholders, i.e. Busienss Units, plants, other business function.

**Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in engineering with a specialization on international purchasing.
- Fluent in English with an international mind set.
- Has at least +5 years of professional experience with strong focus on procurement.
- Minimum 3 years’ procurement experience in M.R.O (maintenance, repair, and operations), Consumables, Oils & Greases (Fluid management services).
- Relevant knowledge of supplier base in Best Cost Country (global), cost structure and TCO.
- Technical understanding, strong communication skill and experience with global & matrix organizations.
- Awareness of market trends in terms of best practices and innovation on this category.
- Proven track record in planning and executing cross-functional cost reduction projects related with production sites and other relevant business stakeholders.
- Experience in developing, communicating and implementing Global or Regional commodity strategies including contract and project management with excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Experience in working with e-sourcing tools and e-catalogue implementation
