Mobile Networks Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front-runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

Transportation Operations team is part of the Logistics and Trade Management unit inside the Mobile Network Supply Chain. Transportation Operations covers all the transport operations from component vendors via factory and distribution centers until the outbound deliveries to regional country warehouses and drop-of-points.
**What you will learn and contribute to**
The MN Transport Operations Leader leads and is accountable for Nokia's global transportation in Mobile Networks Business Group, both operationally and financially. The scope of this role includes leadership of Global Distribution Center inbound transportation, outbound transportation towards Market Operations, and global Transportation Operations Control Tower function. This includes leading a team of a multicultural and global team and overseeing a spend of up to 300 Million EUR annually.
The preferred locations of the role are in Portugal (Amadora), Hungary (Budapest), and Finland (Espoo), but other key global sites may also be acceptable.

As part of our team, you will work with:
- Strategy creation for MN Transportation Operations;
- Leadership of the MN global transportation set-up, ensuring Nokia MN has the best transportation solutions to meet the needs of customers at optimal quality and cost;
- People leadership of global team including transportation managers and operational teams providing tools and process management, reporting etc;
- Day-to-day performance management of the transportation lanes, ensuring customer expectations are met;
- Financial management, ensuring budgets and financial targets are achieved;
- Supplier management, executive leadership of logistics service providers that provide the transportation services.
**Your skills and experience**
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree with experience/additional qualifications in Supply Chain operations;
- Min. 10 years' relevant extensive experience and proven track record in Leadership positions;
- In-depth experience in supply chain and delivery operations in the Telecommunications Business or High-tech industries;
- Relationship Management / Stakeholder Engagement Management;
- Experience of working with Supply Chain tools, processes and methodologies, performance management and driving for improvements;
- Strong people-oriented leadership skills for international and remote team, functionally as well as disciplinary - including ability to lead without formal power and line authority in case needed;
- Ability to drive and guide large scale projects/programs, including strong negotiation skills;
- Ability to make decision in a complex and ambiguous environment & think strategically;
- Excellent presentation, networking and communication skills;
- Fluent command of English language. 1-2 additional languages are favorable
- High energy, initiative, enthusiasm and persistence.
