We as IoT and Platform Services Unit (IPS) are a trusted and valued IT partner of Siemens business units in mastering the challenges of digitalization. Together we create and operate innovative, Siemens-wide established platform solutions.
We as a IPS cross-function enable IPS units’ business with a variety of expertise and manage cross topics to put our customers first and to achieve common goals and successfully implement the IPS strategy, new projects & services in Production IT and Product IT.
**Responsibilities**:
- ** Project Excellence**:
- Hosting & Coordination of IPS Project Owner community to foster overall project excellence
- Alignment and coordination of IT project portfolio within IPS as well as with relevant stakeholder (FIN, business ITs etc.)
- Support Project Owner through project phases from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards and any further deliverables required
- Support on coordination of project resources
- Preparation and communication of project reporting to stakeholders
- ** Service Excellence**:
- Hosting & Coordination of IPS Service Owner community to foster overall service excellence
- Alignment and coordination of IT service portfolio incl. strategic service roadmaps
- Organizing regular meetings and maintaining communication channels among Service Owners, by exchanging best practices and coordinating concerns or requirements
- Foster a sense of community by facilitating collaboration and communication among them and encouraging knowledge sharing
- Preparation and communication of service reporting to stakeholders (iRAM, DigiOps)
- ** IT Process Support for New Services**:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support with ITIL Processes for new services
- Assist in implementing and improving ITIL Processes for efficient service delivery
- Support in the development of process documentation, including procedures and workflows
- Conduct training sessions to educate stakeholders on new processes and procedures
- Identify potential IT risks by conducting risk assessments, monitoring risk levels and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Facilitation of further cross topics (e.g. Product and Solution Security Expert)
**Qualifications/Requirements**:
- Master degree in IT or business administration with focus on IT or similar degree
- Experience in large international IT organizations
- Experience in leading of international project teams
- Strong communication and collaboration skills on all levels of the organization
- Experience in process definition, management and continuous improvements (ITIL Methodology)
- Experience in hosting of organization-wide communities
- Experience in IT Project Management methodology for IT projects based on classical and agile methodologies
- Independent and self-reliant way of working
- Ability to create a collaborative environment
- Good written and verbal English on a business level is a must
- Agile and ITIL certification is a plus;
- Knowledge of ServiceNow is a plus;
- iRAM and DigiOps is a plus
