As an Business Unit Manager at Ivy Partners, you will:

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new client logos to aggressively expand Ivy Partners' market footprint.
  • Drive end-to-end sales processes, from cold outreach and lead generation to high-stakes presentations, contract negotiation, and closing.
  • Translate complex client pain points into tailored consulting proposals, leveraging the right engagement models (T&M, Fixed-Price, Nearshore, Managed Services, etc.).
  • Build, manage, and maintain a robust, predictable sales pipeline through disciplined activity, networking, and targeted outreach.
  • Expand newly won accounts by establishing strong C-level relationships and cross-selling further consulting capabilities.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a team of consultants to support account delivery, ensuring client satisfaction and team retention post-sale.
  • Manage the Business Unit's P&L, driving revenue growth, gross margin optimization, and achievement of aggressive sales KPIs and OKRs.

About You

You are our ideal candidate if you possess:

  • 6+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management within consulting, IT services, or professional services, with a demonstrated history of consistently exceeding revenue quotas.
  • A proactive, self-driven attitude with a relentless passion for outbound prospecting, pipeline generation, and closing net-new business.
  • Strong background in or understanding of consulting services, including engagement and delivery models (Time & Materials, Fixed-Price Projects, Extended Teams, Nearshore, Managed Services).
  • Advanced experience crafting commercial proposals, pitching to executive stakeholders, and negotiating complex commercial terms.
  • An active, relevant professional network and client portfolio in the region (highly desirable).
  • Previous experience (or strong readiness) in team management, consultant career development, and managing Business Unit P&L/performance metrics.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
