Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the front desk and guest services department, ensuring smooth checkins, checkouts, and overall guest experiences.
  • Lead and motivate a team, setting high standards for service delivery and ensuring optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement efficient front office procedures and policies to streamline operations and enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally, resolving issues to maintain the highest levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and exceptional service delivery.
  • Monitor room availability and reservations to maximise room revenue and occupancy rates.
  • Train and onboard new team members, providing ongoing coaching and support to ensure a cohesive and knowledgeable front office team.
  • Prepare and analyze reports, metrics, and financial data related to frontoffice operations, and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and security standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Front Office Manager demonstrating leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Exceptional problemsolving skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy and tact.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and reservation systems.
  • Familiarity with revenue management principles to optimise room revenue and occupancy.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, capable of managing competing priorities effectively.
  • A proactive and handson approach, coupled with a keen eye for detail.
