CONTENT DEVELOPMENT
We are a diverse, dynamic, global team of content creators, dedicated to communicating the FARFETCH message to our customers.

From copy and imagery to size & fit solutions and localisation, the Content Development umbrella manages end-to-end content and asset creation, creating a unique luxury experience.


Localisation Services is a full service team providing end-to-end, multichannel e-commerce localisation solutions for the FARFETCH marketplace as well as our partner luxury fashion brands.

We pride ourselves on delivering world-class client service, from project management of the website build and maintenance through to ongoing e-commerce consultancy.

THE ROLE


Reporting into the Project Management Lead within the Localisation Services team, you will be coordinating localisation projects across the business.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end project coordination of the localisation cycle for user experience and customer service content, product catalogue, newsletters, training materials and general content solutions across the business.

Particular focus will be on the mapping and documentation of existing content.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • You will be responsible for setting up, briefing, allocating and delivering complex localisation tasks through our different translation and production tools to our internal and external translation teams.
  • You will be responsible for collecting all the necessary information to ensure the successful completion of all translation tasks and liaise with other teams in the organisation to ensure smooth production of translation materials.
  • You will be required to export, import and validate assets, prepare files in different Microsoft Office formats and support with their content upload into the content production tools.
  • You will build projects on our Translation Management System, analyse content, allocate and see projects endtoend.
  • You will support the Localisation Leads in their planning and communication with stakeholders and will suggest improvement for our initiatives, whether that is for internal or external tools and processes
  • You will provide support and direction on the quality management of all projects
  • You will manage all administrational tasks such as monthly reporting on completed projects and content volumes
  • You will act as an ambassador for the Localisation Services team, supporting the implementation of excellent localisation practices across the business.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You are a linguist at heart, someone who lives and breathes language
  • You are a translation specialist with proven experience of coordinating complex projects (with problem/solution ambiguity)
  • You have proven and up to date knowledge of translation memory, machine translation and translation management workflows/software
  • You have excellent organisational skills, you are intuitive and highly solutionoriented
  • You have exceptional people and communication skills
