As an IT Ops Intern, what are you going to do?

  • Testing, Deploying and configuration of new systems
  • Defining and contributing to routine system maintenance procedures
  • Proactively identifying faults both remotely and at sites. Responding to escalated incidents and guiding/performing break/fix activities when errors and faults occur.
  • Liaising with customer when on site, remotely and proactively communicating with global ITOps community, providing visibility and insight on escalating issues and identifying areas where service can be improved;
  • Providing on site early life support and training peers and other support teams on the full IT and SW stack
  • Analyzing proactively system performance
  • Participating in the development of Technical Support Specialists through supervision, coaching and upskilling sessions, generating a culture of accountability for actions
  • Create, update and maintain documentation and contribute to training materials.
  • Being compliant with company policies including Health and Safety, Vehicle use, Expenses etc.
  • Ensure that Environment and Health&Safety is integrated into all activities and adherence to EHS Policy & Procedures as well as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance is strictly maintained. Complete all the compulsory trainings related with them.
  • Comply with the information security and data privacy policies and procedures adopted by Vision-Box. Report any information security or data privacy incidents or weaknesses immediately. Complete all the compulsory trainings related with information security and data privacy.

What are the skills and professional experience we're expecting from you?

  • Experience with OS: Windows Server, Linux;
  • Experience with Virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V);
  • Entry knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, AMQP, NTP, SNMP);
  • Entry knowledge and experience in automation development (Powershell, Python, Bash);
  • Proficiency in English;
