Overview Of The Role

PagerDuty is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our diverse, customer-focused team As Business Development Representative, you will report to a Manager of Sales Development and as part of a dynamic team, you'll collaborate closely with our talented Account Executives, fuelling their pipelines with promising leads and conquering territories together. Your role will be to ignite interest through a modern approach to outbound prospecting, nurturing, educating and captivating potential clients with the incredible value of PagerDuty.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Value Selling: Focus on highlighting the unique PagerDuty value and benefits our products and services can provide to a customer, addressing specific needs or challenges.
  2. Sales Effectiveness: Establish and maintain genuine connections with customers, consistently achieving sales goals.
  3. Sales Execution: Ensure that work and information are complete and accurate; prepare for meetings and follow up on commitments.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with potential customers.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage and prioritise multiple leads and opportunities.
  • Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Passion for technology.
  • 1-2 years experience in outbound prospecting.
  • Fluent in Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Salesforce.com preferred.
  • BA/BS Degree.

PagerDuty is a flexible, hybrid workplace. This role is expected to come into our Lisbon office 1-2 times per week.
