Sales Coordinator Performance Specialties EMEA&I Supporting the Regional Sales Managers in the daily business ensuring a seamless sales process. The Internal Sales will play a key role in coordinating sales activities, managing customer interactions, and assisting in a wide range of administrative sales duties that contribute to the overall success of the sales department. Being there for the customers for following up on requests customers have, liaising with customer service, product stewardship, quality managers, finance team in order to make sure customers receives feedback in a timely manner.This position works within Performance Specialties EMEA&I region.
Job Description Position in Organization
Reports to Senior Commercial Manager Performance Specialties EMEA
Direct Reports: No direct reports. This role is an individual contributor
Responsibilities
You will support the sales team by answering administrative questions to customers, frequent contact via mail and telephone with main customers and distributors all over EMEA, initiate and lead customer notifications and mailings in coordination with the Regional Sales Managers
You will support the sales team by being the link between sales and various other functions within the Company (Product Stewardship, Technical department, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, Marketing)
You will record and track complaints in coordination with sales and make sure complaints are properly followed up within the organization
You will support sales in sending samples to customers, registering in Salesforce and following up on status
You will send quotations to customers and distributors in coordination with the Regional Sales Managers, send out product updates, new pricings, market news to key customers and distributors, compile and maintain commercial contracts, rebate agreements and distributor contracts
You will collect, gather and store market research and market insights brochures, articles and other information and make it readily available to sales managers
You will participate in the Commercial Team Meetings, keep tracking of action points and notes
Decision making
You can make decisions related to best practices of managing internal meetings and ways of working to get the proper updates required to successfully suport the Sales Teams and ultimately achieve business results. Higher-level approvals are required for those related to significant business decisions.
What will it take Communicates effectively: Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams enables you to be articulate when working with other areas of the company. For example, working with Customer Service to resolve sales-related issues and Supply Chain to resolve supply/demand related issues.
Plan and align: Planning, aligning and organization is crucial in managing the multiples tasks and projects this role will have to undertake at once. It enables you to execute the tasks with precision, maximize productivity and achieve desired outcomes. Flexibility will be key in addressing every day changing priorities and demands of the role.
Collaboration: Support the sales team by being the link between sales and various stakeholders within the Company requires effective collaboration and communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
Action orientated: Takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy and enthusiasm, showing dedication and passion to support sales team in the daily business ensuring a seamless sales process. This is crucial to ensure efficient sales operations in the EMEA&I region.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
Strong customer orientation and demonstrate flexibility and independent working attitude in addressing changing priorities and demands.
Ability to function in an action-oriented environment, which is dependent on cross-functional cooperation is imperative.
Well organized, able to maintain a high degree of accuracy
A proven problem-solver, who anticipates and addresses business issues, is critical. The ideal candidate will be one who is energized by problem resolution and looking for a new challenge every day.
Solid interpersonal and excellen communication skills in both written and verbal form are essential
Position Requirements
Education : Minimum High School diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree is a plus.
Experience : Commercial Office Admin experience of 1-5 years
IT Skills : MS Office - required. JDE or similar ERP software, Sales Force, Demantra, and Tableau are a plus.
Language Skills : Verbal and written English, German is a plus
Working arrangements: Minimum 3 days a week in the Porto office
Traveling required : Travel not required for position unless for special events, sales meetings, tradeshows
