Reporting to the Head of Operational Excellence – Ops Leadership Team

Direct reports: 3 x Operational Excellence Lead

Location:

Porto Bratislava Barcelona

For this new role, we are looking for a tech-savvy leader who will build standard competitive engineering for our labs, contribute to the choice of strategic equipments and suppliers (e.g. imaging, radiology) and set advanced maintenance programs contributing to very high efficiency of our equipments at lowest cost.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and implement a comprehensive operational excellence strategy aligned with the organization's objectives and long-term goals Lead process improvement & global transformation programs with the use of structured problem-solving tools techniques to analyze existing processes, identify bottlenecks, and streamline workflows Identify areas for improvement and establish clear objectives, roadmap and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress Establish performance metrics and governance mechanisms to monitor operational performance and identify areas of improvement. Analyze data and provide insights to senior management on key trends, opportunities, and risks Drive a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization. Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption and implementation of process improvements Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employees' understanding of operational excellence principles and methodologies. Provide coaching and mentoring to project teams and individuals involved in process improvement initiatives. Foster a learning environment and promote knowledge sharing across the organization Collaborate with leaders and teams from various departments to identify and address operational challenges. Facilitate cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring effective communication and coordination among stakeholders. Promote collaboration and alignment to achieve operational excellence goals

Requirements

5-8 years professional experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, operations management or related field Technical knowledge on IVD processes, equipments and requirements (Plus) Strong background in operational excellence, process improvement, and performance management (consulting background preferred) Strong knowledge in Lean & Kaizen Tools (Value Stream Analysis, Daily Management, Process Mapping, etc) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights Proven track record of managing complex projects in a multi sites/multi countries environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels Experience in training and workshops facilitation, with the ability to drive engagement Innovative mindset and team player At ease working in a fast paced environment Will be mobile - Travel time expected: 30-50 % Full proficiency in English is mandatory. Other languages also valuable
