Training Manager

Adecco Recruitment is looking for a Training Manager (M/F), for an important company, Santo Tirso.
As member of the HR organisation, the training manager is coordinating all activities linked to training in accordance with the plant needs. His role covers the complete scope of it, from content specification to training performance assessment. Focus is made on blue collars but the opportunity to develop some white collars skills might be considered.
**Responsibilities**:
Set up and deploy training policy at plant level to support the strategic and operational objectives of company.
Identify training needs for BC and WC employees, through assessments, surveys, observation, etc.
Define several courses adapted to the different groups we need to train, students from professional schools, newcomers with industrial experience, FormAero, refresh of current experienced employees.
Define training plan for WC, namely on leadership development and soft skills.
In conjunction with a MFT, implement training courses for polyvalence enhancement and new competencies needed to ensure the maximum effectiveness of the Production organisation.
Coordinates and handles the resources needs for training programs, namely trainers, training areas, jigs and other logistics of training programs.
Evaluates existing programs in light of groups and market best practices and develops improvement actions when appropriate.
Manage the training effectiveness evaluation process.
Manage the trainees evaluation process.
Develops and maintains a set of KPI to track and evaluate the effectiveness of the training strategies and programs.
Regular review and improvement of current training content and assess the consistency with production needs.
Builds and maintains strong working relationship with internal and external stakeholders including group training schools and external training centres.
Manage the interface with Training Centers (CENFIM)
Develops and maintains production training technical expertise by and liaising with company training schools and implements groupo best practices locally.
Benchmark best practices in training at company.
Training Policy with professional schools, Universities, Internship programs, summer training,IEFP.
Manage the onboarding and tutoring process for BC.
Supports the OP annual exercise by forecasting a training budget to meet company objectives and maintain cost control of training plan.
