Devoteam is a leading consulting firm focused on digital strategy, tech platforms, and cybersecurity. We work with top cloud providers, including AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, to deliver transformative cloud solutions to our clients. As we continue to grow our Azure practice, we are looking for a dynamic Microsoft Azure Sales Lead to drive new business and expand our market presence in Portugal and beyond.
As the Microsoft Azure Sales Lead, you will play a pivotal role in growing Devoteam Portugal’s Azure business by developing and executing a robust sales strategy. Reporting to the Distributed Cloud Sales Director, you will lead new client acquisition, manage relationships with key enterprise clients, and work closely with the Microsoft Azure ecosystem to deliver consultative cloud solutions. A strong technical background will be an advantage in ensuring the delivery of strategic, value-driven conversations to C-level stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Microsoft Azure services to grow our customer base and drive revenue growth.
- Consultative Selling: Employ a consultative approach to selling, focusing on understanding client needs and delivering tailored cloud transformation solutions that align with their business goals.
- Client Acquisition: Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities, particularly focusing on enterprise clients needing cloud transformation solutions.
- Partnership Management: Collaborate closely with Microsoft to strengthen our strategic partnership and leverage their ecosystem for joint business development initiatives.
- Sales Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals, setting targets, monitoring performance, and driving high performance.
- Pipeline Management: Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and effective client engagement throughout the sales cycle.
- Technical Understanding: Leverage your technical background to engage in meaningful conversations with both clients and internal teams, ensuring solutions meet technical and business requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with technical and delivery teams to ensure that sales proposals align with Devoteam’s capabilities and customer needs.
- Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Proven Sales Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in a sales leadership role within the technology/cloud sector, preferably with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Consultative Selling Experience: Demonstrated ability to employ a consultative approach to identify client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Azure Expertise: Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services and solutions, and experience selling cloud transformation solutions to enterprise clients.
- Technical Background: A technical background (e.g., certifications or hands-on experience with Azure) is a strong plus and will enable you to have deeper technical conversations with clients.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to develop and execute sales strategies that align with overall business objectives.
- Leadership Skills: Experience managing sales teams, mentoring staff, and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with enterprise customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Results-Oriented: Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese (both written and verbal) is essential.
