As an HR Training & Development Specialist you will develop training curriculum/materials, select appropriate delivery mechanisms, deliveri training, and monitoring training effectiveness for the general workforce and for targeted discipline/technical areas:
**Discipline/Technical Training**
- Discipline-specific professional and process/tool knowledge training (e.g., Finance function training on external accounting standards and internal financial systems/control processes)
- Discipline-specific competency training (e.g., Influence and Negotiation training for Sales Representatives)
**Non-Technical Training**
- Training on general skills and competencies (e.g., Verbal & Written Communications, Time Management Skills, Basic Spreadsheet/Document Creation skills, etc.)
- Training on leadership and management development May develop training curriculum/materials. May select and/or oversee vendors to develop training content or conduct training.
**Responsibilities**:
- First point of contact for day-to-day HR enquiries.
- Responsible for the Induction and Training of new employees
- Liaises as needed internally to ensure everything is available for the new hires for day 1 (laptop, phone, car, company credit card if relevant, etc)
- Responsible for all administrative aspects of Training and Development (reporting training hours, attendance sheets, etc)
- Responsible for identifying training needs and implement internal/external training actions
- Responsible for facilitating internal trainings
- Responsible for coordinating language classes with external providers
- Employee data input and maintenance in our Learning Management System
- Assesses procedures and systems for continuous improvement and operational efficiency
- Ensures compliance with local legislation and policies
**Requirements**:
- University degree education is preferred: in HR or a relevant field
- 2 - 4 years of experience in an HR administrative role
- Excellent oral, written and client-facing communication skills
- Fluent in English and Portuguese - written and spoken - is mandatory
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Understanding of the principles of HR
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Previous experience using Leaning Management Systems is preferred
- Logical thinker and innovative approach to root cause analysis, problem solving and process improvement
