Portugal Country Manager is responsible for leading ViiV Healthcare business delivering the company vision in the country.

**Key Responsibilities**
In line with the guidance from the VP Spain & Portugal Hub Lead, ensure a strong and credible leadership of all elements of the ViiV Portugal business and particularly:
**Expected Delivery**
- Propose to the VP Spain & Portugal Hub Lead the country IPTC Goals and the relevant KPI’s and ensure their achievement
- P&L responsibility for the country: sales performance and profit targets
- Deliver promoted products sales and competitiveness growth targets
- Maximize lifecycle value of the HIV portfolio
- Build confidence and trust of key external stakeholders: institutions, centers, External Experts and HCP, PLHIV Communities and Health Authorities

**Impact & Risk**
- Accountable for delivering ViiV business and cultural objectives.
- Accountable for ensuring ViiV Portugal meets all corporate and country ethical and legal obligations

**Managerial Responsibility**
- Develop the country organizational model, taking into account the external environment evolution
- Lead, manage and develop the country people building a high performing team.
- Provide direction to Portugal Medical Lead in coordination with Medical Director
- Chair the Country Leadership team, the RMCB
- Is member of the ELT Comm Cell and of the Portuguese Leadership Team ,
- Ensure alignment to the Global and European strategy and guidance
- Identify innovative, ethical business opportunities and solutions to create competitive advantage
- Ensures that service level agreements are being delivered by the shareholder companies

**Basic Qualifications**:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

- University degree in economics, business administration, medicine, pharmacy or similar studies
- Previous experience as business unit lead or commercial / sales / marketing lead in the ethical pharmaceutical industry at country level
- International experience
- Leadership to drive performance and develop people
- Team leading experience
- Ability to influence stakeholders
- Track record in managing complexity
- Drive cross-functional work attitude
- English fluency

**Preferred Qualifications**

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

- Previous commercial, governmental affairs / market access / medical affairs / finance work experience
- Portuguese language knowledge
- HIV therapeutical area knowledge
