Sales Overview
The Territory Account Executive Portugal is a key driver of company revenue and growth. This role requires an experienced and dynamic sales professional to lead and drive sales engagements, focusing on deploying the Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Security Platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles and work with internal partners and teams to best serve the customer
- Bring consultative selling skills to initiate long-standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors
- Create and implement strategic account plans focused on attaining enterprise-wide deployments
- Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position Palo Alto Networks
- Engage a programmatic approach to demand generation, development, and expansion within the territory
- Leverage prospect stories to create a compelling value proposition with insights into value for specific accounts
- Stay updated on industry news and trends, and how they affect Palo Alto Networks products and services
Qualifications
This role requires experience and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, ideally in a networking and/or security context. Awareness of SASE technology is preferred. Additionally, this position demands successful track records in selling complex solutions, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work with high levels of autonomy and self-direction. Active security clearance is also required.
