Sales Business Developer

We are seeking an experienced Sales Business Developer to join our team at TD SYNNEX Portugal, Lda. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills in sales and business development.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing internal co-owner accounts with FSE / IKAM for the largest clients, delivering customer satisfaction, and developing new sales opportunities.
This role involves key account management for a defined set of mid-sized partners across the TD SYNNEX portfolio, with incentives based on total portfolio performance.
Key Responsibilities- Maximizing call potential and outcomes using various sources to gain customer information
- Generating new business opportunities by planning outbound calls to customers
- Holding conversations with customers around solution/product areas
- Offering recommendations to enhance the value proposition by collecting customer information to understand business requirements
- Achieving monthly/quarterly revenue and margin targets for aligned customers/segments
- BUILDING EXCELLENT CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS through proactive engagement
- Developing partner relationships (including account planning, cross-selling)
- Providing, selling, and negotiating product information, pricing, special offers, and promotions
- Attaining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as daily talk time and outbound calls
- Selling the benefits of using TD SYNNEX and the Company value proposition
- Identifying project opportunities and engaging with BDM/ISS if specific product/vendor knowledge is required
- Engaging in active inside selling and 'intelligent project fishing'. Managing customer backorder expectations and reporting
- Generating and owning a pipeline of deals in TD SYNNEX's CRM system, regularly reviewed and updated, ensuring active closure of opportunities
- Providing accurate and timely quotations to customers
- Ensuring TD SYNNEX maintains service level agreements with customers
- 1-2 years of experience in sales or equivalent educational background
- Knowledge of product sets desirable but not essential
- Numerate with good attention to detail
- Excellent telephone manner
- Priority management and planning skills
- Striving to achieve set targets
- Understanding of Sales Process
- Effective communication skills
- Good relationship building
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ideal candidates will have previous experience of IT systems for quotation, order entry, CRM
- An estimated salary range of €40,000 - €60,000 per annum, depending on experience
