Our client is the leading provider of innovative solutions in the African stablecoins space. They are dedicated to making stablecoins accessible and understandable for everyone, providing their customers with secure and user-friendly platforms for financial transactions.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team. This is a full-time remote position that offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for new business and partner acquisition, identifying target clients and segments for our client's platform, and generating new partnerships from start to execution. You will also conduct quarterly reviews with senior leadership, present and promote partnerships to ensure success.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business and Partner Acquisition: Prospect, qualify, and negotiate contracts with potential partners.
- Partner Onboarding: Provide sales and product training to partners, manage pipelines, and report accurately each week.
- Partner Success: Visit partners/customers/prospects as necessary, attend local events and exhibitions, and achieve revenue targets set.
- Negotiate Business Terms: Dissect contracts with strategic technology partners and coordinate with administration, marketing, and legal stakeholders to complete formal agreements.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Bachelor's Degree At least 4 years of experience in Business Development or Head of Sales role Prior work experience in Africa is required.Experience in full-cycle B2B sales process, including onboarding and integration, and partnership management on live accounts.Project Management experience advantageous Strong ability to close Ability to get up to speed quickly, "see around corners", make tough decisions, and influence broadly across the organisation.What We Offer
