Human Resources Lead Job Description

At Amgen Sa, we are committed to serving patients and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Lead to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal.

Job Summary

The Human Resources Lead will act as a key advisor to our leadership team, developing and executing local HR strategies aligned with our regional and corporate objectives. This role will be responsible for optimizing leadership team effectiveness, creating a purposeful culture, driving the performance management cycle, and building a talent management-succession plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partners with senior managers and key stakeholders to develop and implement HR strategies
  • Acts as a key advisor to leadership teams on organizational design initiatives and change management programs
  • Develops initiatives and programs to create a purposeful Amgen culture for management and staff members
  • Directs and drives the performance management cycle, working with managers, coaching and developing staff
  • Builds a talent management-succession plan, identifying development needs, high potential and future talent

Requirements

  • Master Degree in Psychology, Sociology, HR, Business Administration, or similar degree
  • Significant HR experience covering a variety of functions such as HR business partnering, rewards, staffing, training, and employee relations
  • Experience working in a multinational matrix organization
  • Portuguese proficiency and work experience
