About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Executive to drive growth in the Public Sector. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in expanding Gartner's presence across the global market.

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for strategically acquiring new clients by building trust-based relationships with C-level executives. You will identify prospects, cultivate trust, and drive the full sales cycle from initial outreach to closure.

We are looking for a collaborative and results-driven individual who can align the right combination of insight, guidance, and practical tools to bring value to our partnerships. If you have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, and have experience selling to and/or influencing C-level executives, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Seek out and drive new business opportunities with new-to-Gartner organizations across your territory
  • Convert viable prospects into active Gartner clients, owning the full sales conversation and negotiation
  • Align the right combination of insight, guidance, and practical tools to bring value to the partnership
  • Continually build a pipeline of high-quality opportunities to deliver against your sales metrics
  • Quota responsibility for your assigned territory

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' B2B sales experience, preferably within complex, intangible sales environments
  • Previous Public Sector experience
  • Business development or new client-acquisition experience in a selling role highly desired
  • Experience selling to and/or influencing C-level executives
  • Proven track record meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Proven ability to precisely manage and forecast a complex sale process
