The RoleAs a Senior Asset Specialist, you will be part of our UK, Ireland & Nordics regional operations team, focusing on executing regional processes and managing local depots. Your primary objective will be to drive operational results by ensuring fleet availability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
You will be responsible for end-to-end processes related to vehicle management, supplier procurement, stock management, logistics, and contact with local operations. Your actions will have a direct impact on results, and you will need to coordinate with your team members and local operations to achieve success.
Key Responsibilities- Maximise fleet availability through effective vehicle in-fleeting procedures, vehicle intervention management, and vehicle de-fleeting procedures;
- Guarantee that the local structure is stocked with required inventory to service the fleet, according to established models, and execute spare parts procurement as needed;
- Be knowledgeable about the vehicles operated and assist local operations in interventions required for vehicles in your region;
- Coordinate actions between local teams and logistics companies to move the fleet according to business requirements;
- Develop the fleet network by procuring, negotiating, and managing relationships with workshops and fleet partners;
- Contribute significantly to vehicle operating costs in your region;
- Assist junior colleagues in prioritising tasks, guiding, and training them;
- Contribute to expansion projects in your region.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, mechanical education, business management, or similar;
- At least 3 years of experience in an operational context involving fleet management, supplier management, logistics, and supply chain;
- Pronounced action-taking skills, with experience in central coordination of fleet management, logistics, or a similar field;
- Organised and analytical mindset, using data to drive actions and effectively managing time to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Team player with excellent communication skills to work closely with team members and external partners;
- Adaptable and resilient individual who can adapt to unforeseen events while following procedures;
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
