Operations Manager Job Description

At Odds Scanner, we are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our operational excellence by defining and implementing processes, managing a team of project managers, and ensuring alignment across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the project management team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Develop, implement, and refine processes for roadmap planning and project workflows to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for processes, projects, and best practices.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress and success of projects, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Work closely with department owners to provide guidance and support, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with overall business goals.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including department heads and team members, to guarantee project alignment and success.
  • Responsible for building and expanding the entire operations team, ensuring the team has the necessary skills and resources to succeed.
  • Oversee resource allocation and ensure optimal utilization of team members to meet project deadlines and deliverables.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (PMP, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in operations management, project management, or a similar role, preferably within a tech or digital agency environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading and developing teams.
  • Exceptional ability to develop and optimize processes, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Jira, Trello) and tools for documentation and reporting (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet).
