We have welcomed over 300,000 travelers from 169 countries, with more than one million nights rented through our travel platform. Our diverse range of services includes short-term RV rentals, long-term campervan subscriptions, and the possibility of buying one of our vehicles available for sale.

The Role


As a Financial Operations Director, you will report directly to the Finance Director and be responsible for managing the financial operations of 20+ entities within the Indie Campers Group. Your primary objective will be to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, as well as provide valuable insights to support informed business decisions.


Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement effective accounting routines and controls across multiple countries
  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
  • Manage all tax deliverables for each entity, coordinating submissions with local authorities
  • Prepare and present consolidated accounts in a timely and accurate manner
  • Lead a network of external consultants/accountants across Europe, the US, and Oceania
  • Research and establish accounting policies and regulations
  • Implement best practices and procedures across different countries
  • Promote the optimization and digitalization of the accounting department
  • Develop efficient methods for managing the accounting team
  • Coordinate actions with auditors and manage year-end audit procedures
  • Manage tax inspections, transfer pricing policies, and tax optimization

Requirements


To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field
  • Certified accountant/TOC (plus)
  • Fluency in English (mandatory)
  • Deep tax and fiscal knowledge
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
  • Autonomy, attention to detail, tech-savviness, and strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing situations

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
