Sales Director for Africa and Expansion Markets

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our growth in Africa and Expansion Markets. As a key member of the Bolt Business leadership team, you will be responsible for managing multiple sales teams across various countries, owning the regional go-to-market strategy, and building the sales organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Managing your sales organization, you will lead country managers across your region, owning sales performance, coaching, developing, and driving them to meet each country's goals.
  • Achieve growth and smash regional sales targets by driving your teams to success, hitting and beating targets, and bringing success for all your markets and your region.
  • You will own the regional go-to-market strategy, planning who is doing what, project P&L, and what your markets and teams will achieve.
  • Coaching & Training your team by mentoring and improving them every day, performance managing your country managers, taking them to new levels, and developing their careers at Bolt.
  • Present sales and revenue forecasts to the management team.
  • Spot opportunities, devise projects to test new ideas, and manage their execution.
About You

We expect:

  • 8+ years experience in fast-paced B2B Sales, with at least 4+ years managing sales teams ideally across several locations/markets and ideally a BS/MS degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • You are a leader, who can motivate a large regional team, and manage different cultures and needs of your reports.
  • Experience in outbound selling of a service or SaaS product into the SME / large business market.
  • Familiar with leading CRMs and highly analytical of sales stats and KPIs.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity.
Estimated Salary Range:

R1,200,000 - R1,800,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications.
