Job Overview
We seek a Customer Success Engineer (Access & Networks) to be part of the team responsible for productization and support of our Cloud and Access Gateways delivering Internet, Video and Voice to clients globally.
This position is based in Maia, Portugal.
Responsibilities:
- Assist sales teams with demo setup and Proof of Concepts.
- Help customers with network solution initial setup and configuration for smooth deployment and integration.
- Support new client onboarding.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance ensuring efficient network system operation.
- Address product-specific queries on installation and ongoing.
- Bug testing and feature development support.
- Update training materials and documentation.
- Collect and report issues to Product Managers.
- Daily communication and relationship building with customers.
- Prompt and professional handling of product support calls and email inquiries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Informatics or Electronics, or equivalent experience.
- Cisco or other networking vendor certifications.
- Familiarity with multi-service network architectures supporting IPTV, VoIP, Wi-Fi.
- Ability to install and configure networking equipment.
- Knowledge of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, QoS).
- Diagnosing and resolving network-related issues.
- Experience with network security and firewall configurations.
- Linux command line knowledge.
- Scripting language proficiency (e.g., bash).
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Empathy towards customer needs and ability to manage expectations.
Salary Range: €45,000 - €65,000 per annum, depending on experience
