Sales Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our team at Hilton Worldwide, Inc. This role is responsible for analyzing local market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that keep our hotel a leader in the marketplace. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing creative local marketing channels, including social media channels, and negotiating room rates/packages with corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads
  • Develop customer accounts and travel nationally and/or internationally to drive business into the hotel
  • Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients
  • Develop and implement creative local marketing channels, including social media channels
  • Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions
Requirements:
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English
  • Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
  • Experience in a sales role with a proven track record to close a sale
  • MICE business and MICE stakeholders acumen
  • Knowledge of local market and hospitality
  • Passion for sales and for achieving targets and objectives
