Our client is an international company in the energy sector that is looking for a Head of Sales.

Strategy and Growth Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
Client Relationships Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners, stakeholders, and clients to secure and expand business opportunities.
Establish productive and professional relationships with key clients.
Oversee the negotiation and closure of business deals, ensuring profitability and compliance with the company's policies and objectives.
Performance Management Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve excellent performance levels.
Monitor sales metrics and manage the sales administration process.
Market Analysis Stay informed of industry trends and technological advancements in renewable energy and biodiversity consultancy.
Leverage insights from the consulting sector to inform sales strategies.
Collaborate with the marketing team to identify and enhance customer acquisition.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
Foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the sales team.
Organizational Structure Reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer, ensuring clear and effective communication of department progress, challenges, and successes.
Team Management Has full autonomy in managing their team, encompassing staff selection, professional development, and task distribution.
Holds authority to make decisions regarding service distribution, department budgeting, and investment in training and skills development.
Interfacing with Other Departments Collaborates closely with Biodiversity, Technology Development, and other relevant departments to ensure cross-departmental alignment and synergy. This includes coordinating on project proposals, aligning biodiversity strategies with technological innovations, and communicating the value of biodiversity considerations in project bids.

competências

Bachelor's degree required & Masters degree preferred;
Specialization in Consulting within the fields of Biodiversity, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or related areas preferred.
Proven track record in achieving sales growth and leading a successful sales team, with significant experience in the consulting sector.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with proficiency in multilingual and multicultural environments.
Proficiency in CRM and sales management tools, with a keen ability to analyze and deliver
