At Uber Eats, the Central Operations team is responsible for ensuring that we provide a best-in-class experience to our merchants, delivery partners, and users by maintaining the highest operational standards in terms of efficiency, reliability, and customer experience. As a User Operations Analyst, you'll be responsible for conducting analysis to better understand our users, implement projects and processes to improve their experience, manage internal and external communication channels and support in selected brand activation campaigns.
What You'll Do Data analysis: Leverage Uber's extensive datasets to learn more about our users and identify opportunities to improve their experience using Google Sheets and SQL. Improve User operations: Work with local and international teams to find areas of improvement on User acquisition and engagement, size opportunities, and implement highest impact projects. Growth: Own parts important projects in our Growth plan, including Uber One, our subscription program to save on Uber and Uber Eats. Own & improve process: Own processes end-to-end, managing multiple stakeholders to deliver them, while developing and optimizing new ones. Communication channels: Manage and deploy User communication channels, finding ways to improve processes and content to increase User engagement with Uber Eats. Brand activations: Work with local teams and external vendors to execute brand activation campaigns that generate awareness for Uber Eats and our partners. Project management: Oversee and execute projects, such as the launch of new products and processes, ensuring that they are executed in line with Uber's high operating standards and delivered in a timely manner. Hustle: Take ownership and do what it takes to get the job done. What You'll Need A BSc or MSc in a quantitative field, such as economics, management, mathematics, or engineering. Written and spoken fluency in English and Portuguese is mandatory. Proficient in Excel. Analytical mindset: Comfortable running analysis and leveraging a data-driven approach in decision-making and project execution. Problem Solving: Effectively resolving issues that involve people, things, and processes by using logic and common sense. Communication: Using communication skills and situational awareness to clearly deliver information to a variety of audiences. Marketing: Be able to understand key moments of Uber Eats business and create digital and physical campaigns to activate and amplify Uber Eats brand. Creativity: Is able to have creative ideas that meet the business and User operations objectives. Process execution: Be able to diligently execute small scale and recurrent processes; be organized, attentive to details and reliable. Teamwork: Demonstrates optimism, respects others and works well in a team. Working rights in Portugal (no sponsorship available). Preferred Qualifications Operations experience: 1+ years experience in operations management, management consulting, investment banking, growing a startup or similar, that included analytical responsibilities. Knowledge of SQL.
