Companion Animals Sales Manager

**_ Responsibilities_**
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives. Guide the team in setting specific and measurable short
- and long-term goals.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive market penetration and sales growth for companion animal products.
- Coordinate with marketing and omnichannel teams to ensure effective product launches and promotions.
- Identify new business opportunities, develop sales plans, and expand the customer base.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, veterinary clinics, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with wholesalers: Build and foster strong partnerships with wholesalers in the animal health market.
- Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team to enhance product knowledge and selling skills (Other Centered Selling).
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, Field Force Effectiveness KPIs, prepare sales reports, and propose corrective actions if necessary.
- Stay up to date with industry developments, veterinary practices, and regulatory changes affecting companion animal products.

**_ Qualifications_**
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or a related health discipline, business, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales management, preferably in the companion animal industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Knowledge of the companion animal market, including veterinary clinics, distributors, and key players.
- Familiarity with veterinary products, pharmaceuticals, or animal health products.
- Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
