**What you will do**

Amgen is seeking a Workday Compensation Sr Analyst who will provide overall support for Amgen’s Workday system with a focus on the Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules. The Workday Compensation Sr Analyst will contribute to the delivery of high-quality and timely service to cross-functional organizations. As part of the Compensation & Total Rewards product team, the Workday Compensation Sr Analyst will support the implementation of system configuration updates while contributing to HR Technology Release planning, analysis and deployment for the functional area of responsibility.

The Workday Compensation Sr Analyst will report to the Sr Manager of HR Systems & Solutions based in Tampa, FL.

Key Activities of the **Workday Compensation Sr Analyst** include:

- Serve as the key Workday configuration expert on Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules.
- Support the annual compensation review cycle, including merit increase, bonus, and equity grant processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established timelines.
- Lead research, evaluation, planning, and deployment of technology-related HR initiatives.
- Advise the Business Product Owner on Workday Best Practices and opportunities for innovation.
- Deliver training materials and partner in change management efforts and organizational readiness.
- Support other functional areas such as Core HCM, recruitment, Time/Absence, and Payroll as necessary.
- As needed, function as Project Manager for enhancements in the Total Rewards space.
- Work with HR Technology service provider for complex project implementations.
- Responsible for successful implementation of new functionality and/or processes within project timelines.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to compensation management and Workday functionality.

**What we expect of you**

**Basic Qualifications**

Master’s degree

OR

Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of HR Information Systems (HCM) experience
OR

Associate’s degree and 8 years of HR Information Systems (HCM) experience
OR

High school diploma / GED and 10 years of HR Information Systems (HCM) experience.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- 4+ years of experience with Workday, focusing on Configuration, Reporting, and Business Process administration.
- Demonstrated success in managing projects related to HR Technology in a fast-paced, Agile Environment.
- Proficient in implementing new HR Technology solutions, optimizing business processes, and improving workflow efficiency.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Track record of delivering successful outcomes in both HR and IT environments, with a focus on enhancing the overall user experience.
