My client, a dynamic mid-sized floating technology provider in the offshore wind space. With operations in the UK, Germany, and Portugal, as well as an expanding client base across Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, and the United States, the company is experiencing rapid growth and making a notable impact in the market. They're now seeking a specialist in Business development as they venture further into the Offshore Wind market.
**The Role**:
As Business Development Lead, you would be responsible for,
- Develop and prepare responses to bid requests from global developers.
- Support investment-raising activities to promote the growth of the business.
- Collaborate with the business development team to strategize and implement growth initiatives.
- Engage with stakeholders to promote the company’s innovative technology and its environmental impact.
- Participate in market research to identify trends and opportunities in the offshore wind sector.
- Contribute to the overall development of early-stage technology and business operations.
**The Person**:
- The ability to understand technical terms and engage in technical discussions with ease.
- Proficiency in articulating complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner, tailored to various audiences.
- Communication skills, enabling effective engagement with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Capable of developing innovative solutions and workflows in an early-stage, novel technology environment.
- Proven experience working collaboratively within cross-functional teams, showcasing strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach.
