POSITION OVERVIEW

The HR Operations Specialist I performs a full range of human resource administration supporting the employee journey from hire to retire. The HR Operations Specialist works cross-functionally within the HR Shared Services team supporting HR centers of excellence programs. Reporting to the EIMEA HRSS Manager, the HR Operations Specialist will support multiple countries across the region.

PRIMARY DUTIES
- Complete HR Shared Services and HR Systems tickets within the designated Service Level Agreement.
- Maintain information in HR systems to ensure data integrity and compliance, conduct audits and made associated corrections as appropriate.
- Initiate and/or review all core HCM business process, create offer letters and monitor Workday changes to ensure processes are completed appropriately
- Prepare and send new hire documentation via cloud document provider
- Initiate pre-employment screening and monitor for completion. Escalate with vendors for problem resolution. Communicate concerns on results to HR Partners as they arise.
- Implement needed organizational changes and restructures in Workday
- Liaise with HRBP and business leaders to understand request requirements and to resolve questions within Workday business processes.
- Create custom reports
- Administer the relocation program and tuition reimbursement programs
- Administer fringe benefit programs as assigned.
- Administer payroll and time/attendance systems, including updating system with master data changes from Workday.
- Acts as Purchase Requisitioner and PO issuer for HR in SAP
- Support acquisitions through Workday entry.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process automation and improvement and participate in solution development and testing.
- Identify process gaps and make suggestions for updates to process documentation
- Follow prescribed guidelines as it relates to protection of sensitive information
- Support HR Directors and Business Partners with policy questions and employee file/history related questions. Train new HRD’s and HRP’s on Workday as needed.
- Liaison on company policies, procedures and guidelines for employees.
- Maintain employee digital master files (& hard copy files where legally required) and respond to requests for employee file information.
- Support and train team new hires

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or technical degree. Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in an HR service center
- Microsoft tools proficiency including Excel and Word
- Ability to do high volume work accurately and timely
- Intermediate English level
- Experience working with highly confidential, sensitive information
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently and effectively.
- Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner, escalating appropriately.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
