About the Role

You will lead strategic marketing initiatives, from pre-launch to post-launch, ensuring success every step of the way. This includes developing a launch plan in collaboration with the global team, establishing affiliate operations, and recruiting a high-quality team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take P&L accountability for building the Portuguese team and operations.
  • Develop and implement robust marketing plans, supported by financial analysis and ROI management.
  • Establish affiliate operations, including office setup, legal documentation, policies, and distribution models.
  • Identify and recruit experienced team members for key positions.
  • Strengthen the reputation of Ascendis and TransCon technology with key opinion leaders, regulators, payers, patient organizations, and other stakeholders.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A relevant academic degree, preferably in Business Administration or Health Economics.
  • 10+ years of experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, preferably within rare diseases and/or oncology.
  • Demonstrated success in launching innovative products.
  • Solid track record of prior country management and P&L responsibility.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English.
