Regional Sales Manager - Abroad Experience

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our sales efforts in Europe, with a focus on the German market.

About the Job:

As a Regional Sales Manager at Abroad Experience, you will be responsible for directing sales and account management activities in Europe, including Germany, the Netherlands, France, and Ireland. Your primary goal is to promote profitable business growth with new and existing customers.

  • Promote and prioritize profitable business growth with new and existing customers.
  • Coordinate and analyze customer forecasts and reporting requirements monthly.
  • Coordinate product marketing intelligence for assigned customer base and territory.
About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels. A minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales management experience, preferably in a regional role, is required. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as fluency in German and English.

Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and prioritizing sales efforts to build an RFQ pipeline and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual order and revenue forecasts.
  • Leading sales activities within the region or territory to achieve committed net new business objectives (NNB) using a strategy-to-win approach.
  • Working with multiple channels, such as distributors, Tier 1's, and OEM's, to get products released/approved.
  • Acting as a client advocate, working with Field Application Engineers and internal departments to ensure client needs are understood and satisfied.
  • Obtaining customer intelligence to adjust order and revenue forecasts, flex sales strategy to meet corporate objectives, identify risks, and opportunities.
  • Clarifying major market trends, leading & performing benchmarking to understand market pricing.
  • Coordinating technical roadmap reviews and creating sales opportunities with a consistent brand management plan.
  • Developing annual budgets and portfolio strategy plans to expand business leverage.
  • Developing penetration plans for new customers in the territory.
  • Establishing relationships with engineering and purchasing departments to expand sales volume with existing and new customers.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field highly preferred or strong technical aptitude/experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales management experience, preferably in a regional role.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is €70,000 - €90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
