Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Director to lead our Sell Business Unit. As the directly responsible individual (DRI), you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our partnership with our Sell business.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
This salary range is based on industry standards and location in Lisbon, Portugal.
Responsibilities
* Act as a DRI for the Sell business, coordinating daily interactions and operations to ensure seamless integration.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the partnership.
* Identify and resolve operational challenges, across ProdDev and GTM, to support collaboration and overall success of Sell.
* Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Sell business, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon service level metrics.
* Sit on, and lead, the Executive Committee that governs the relationship between Zendesk and its partner.
* Serve as the main contact for all communication and critical issues between Zendesk and its partner.
* Manage the financial aspects of the partnership, including reporting and payment for revenue sharing, P&L management, cloud cost understanding, and other special projects as necessary.
Requirements
* Demonstrated ability to develop and implement comprehensive business strategies.
* Excellent data analysis skills, as well as systems-level awareness and thinking.
* Foster and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with collaborators, including both external and internal teams.
* Experience working with engineering and product management teams.
* Strong communication & writing skills (both written communications & presentation skills), with demonstrated ability to influence.
* Demonstrated success working across diverse teams and geographies, with the ability to synthesize what may appear to be competing priorities.
* Ability to navigate ambiguity and apply structured approaches/methodologies to projects.
* Strong Google Suite & slide skills.
* SaaS business model and Zendesk product knowledge are a plus.
