The Partnerships division specialises in institutional, financial brokerage, and FinTech sales. We provide white-labelled solutions for banks, asset & wealth management firms, Money Services Businesses, and software platforms, giving access to over 170 currencies, outsourced compliance facilities, and state-of-the-art foreign exchange management software.

The Partnerships team is responsible for building strong relationships with financial intermediaries and strategic partners. As a Strategic Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing a network of intermediaries from scratch through market research and cold calling, leveraging maximum revenue potential.

You will understand the needs of your clients and present appropriate solutions, helping grow our partners' businesses while achieving personal and monetary goals for yourself and Ebury. Joining the indirect sales Partnerships team in Lisbon, you will be part of one of the fastest-growing divisions in the business, with year-on-year growth exceeding 100%.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and acquiring new Introducer Brokers to build a network of partners
  • Developing strong relationships with these Partners to generate warm referrals
  • Working to generate referrals for large private client transactions such as overseas home purchases
  • Managing all existing partnerships to maximise their business potential
  • Providing a high level of customer service
  • Collaborating closely with the wider team and reporting on sales progress

  • Sales and/or relationship management experience in the financial services sector
  • Experience generating large private client transactions, such as cross-border trades
  • A background in B2B or client-facing environments
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A valid driving license
  • A flexible mindset and a sense of urgency aligned with our fast-paced culture
  • Fluency in Portuguese and a business level of English
