We are seeking an exceptional Luxury Hotel Rooms Division Lead to join our pre-opening team at Andaz Lisbon. The hotel, expected to open in Q2 2025, will be a key milestone in Hyatt's continued brand growth in Southern Europe. Located in the center of Lisbon's bustling Baixa district, the hotel will offer guests a unique Urban Resort experience, fully embracing the locale and its authentic charm.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will oversee the guest experience from check-in to check-out for all guests, working closely with Housekeeping and Front Office departments to ensure seamless interactions and adjust processes as necessary.
  • They will maintain effective communication flow between Housekeeping, Front Office, Maintenance, and other departments, ensuring that company minimum brand standards are met and optional standards implemented where applicable.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee hotel inventory and ordering supplies to minimize costs while delivering on the brand promise to guests.
  2. Ensure each cost center operates with the lowest possible cost structure, maximizing revenues and controlling expenses.
  3. Build and deliver brand-led experiences contributing to exceeding hotel NPS and customer service scores.

Requirements:

  • Ideally holding a degree.
  • Currently in a similar role in a luxury 5-star hotel.
  • Proficient in Portuguese, English, and another European language.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of front office, housekeeping, reservations, and guest services operations in luxury hotels.
  • Able to lead daily functions of the rooms division, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Experience in managing room inventory, allocation, and maximizing occupancy and revenue.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate diverse teams across various departments.
  • Exceptional customer service skills focusing on creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Ability to implement service standards and train staff to uphold them consistently.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management for the rooms division.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
