Compliance and Advocacy Manager

The Regulatory Affairs Manager will play a crucial role in shaping Kaizen Gaming's regulatory compliance and public affairs strategy, ensuring adherence to gaming regulations while influencing policy at local and international levels.
This role represents the company to regulators and industry stakeholders, driving compliance and engaging in legislative discussions to protect and promote Kaizen's interests.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing Regulatory Compliance Strategy: Create and implement Kaizen's regulatory compliance strategy, ensuring compliance with gaming laws while engaging in policy discussions that impact the industry.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Foster transparent relationships with regulators and policymakers, attending industry forums and advocating for the company's position on key regulatory and policy matters.
- Policymaking & Advocacy: Monitor regulatory changes, contribute to policy discussions through position papers and consultation responses, and engage in lobbying efforts to support fair and sustainable regulatory frameworks.
- Regulatory Messaging & Leadership: Develop regulatory messaging aligned with Kaizen's business goals, leading and mentoring teams to achieve compliance-driven results.
- Building Industry Partnerships & Coalitions: Build coalitions with industry stakeholders, overseeing Kaizen's participation in trade associations, and contributing to collective regulatory responses and policy recommendations.
- Professional Background & Experience: A minimum of 5 years in regulatory affairs, public affairs, or compliance, including at least 3 years in a senior role within the gaming or regulated industry. Proven experience in government relations and policy influence across multiple jurisdictions.
- Skills & Knowledge: Deep understanding of gaming regulations and compliance requirements, with expertise in political advocacy and stakeholder management. Ability to effectively communicate complex regulatory concepts to diverse audiences, including government officials.
- Leadership & Management: Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, build cross-functional partnerships, and foster a compliance-driven culture. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic regulatory environment.
- Communication & Technical Skills: Exceptional writing, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to draft regulatory responses and influence decision-makers.
- Personal Qualities: Integrity, discretion, and resilience in handling regulatory challenges. A proactive, adaptable, and strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
