Smb Account Executive | Sales Growth Specialist

About the Role:

At Zendesk, Inc., we're accelerating our mission to power exceptional service for every person on the planet. We're seeking a dedicated SMB Account Executive with a proven track record in B2B sales and a passion for driving growth in the SaaS landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Acquire new customers, develop strategies for account expansion, and manage customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction and retention levels.
  • Cross-Sell and Upsell: Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell additional products and services to existing customers, optimizing account revenue and profitability.
  • Data-Driven Prospecting: Use data insights, customer intents, and adoption history to effectively prospect new clients and enhance retention strategies.
  • Value Selling: Articulate compelling business cases, consistently developing a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities, and accurately tracking details and sales stages in Salesforce.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience: Required.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of B2B sales or solution engineering experience, preferably in the SaaS industry with a proven record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Skills: Strong presentation, negotiation, and deal closing skills, as well as account research, prospecting, and customer outreach skills.
  • Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required.
Benefits and Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This estimate is based on the national average salary for similar positions in the United States.
