Job Summary:

This role involves executing and refining our fraud prevention activities using advanced tools and comprehensive data analysis. The ideal candidate will optimize fraud detection methods, enhance overall performance, and achieve key KPIs across all regions and business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain fraud reports and dashboards in BigQuery and Looker to enable real-time fraud analysis.
  • Proactively identify and resolve fraud issues, ensuring we're balancing fraud prevention with customer experience.
  • Daily monitoring and reporting of fraud KPIs.
  • Produce ad hoc reports to evidence live issues and trends and develop solutions to prevent and mitigate risk.
  • Design, test and implement rules & logic to prevent fraud and reduce false positives.
  • Apply advanced analytical techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets to minimise fraud chargebacks whilst balancing customer friction.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience working in a fast-paced ecommerce environment (ideally Fraud).
  • Proficiency in SQL (SQL Server, BigQuery, or similar).
  • Experience using data visualization tools (Looker, PowerBI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Ability to transform data analysis into defined actions and improvement.
  • Knowledge of fraud systems and controls e.g Forter, Riskified, Accertify.
  • Ability to work autonomously in solving complex technical problems.
