Role Overview
This exciting lead generation opportunity is perfect for an enthusiastic individual who wants to develop their sales career within a leading financial services software organization.
As a Business Development Representative, you will act as a liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams, seeking new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
Your role includes qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities, identifying client needs, and suggesting appropriate products or services.
You will also work closely with the marketing department to ensure suitable messaging is distributed to your clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products or services
- Work closely with the marketing department to distribute suitable messaging
- Keep up-to-date with current industry trends, competitors, and company products and services
- Participate in user group meetings and trade shows as needed
- Maintain sales forecasting data in the sales reporting system
- Report on sales results
Requirements
- 0-2 years of inbound and/or outbound business-to-business phone marketing or sales experience
- Able to communicate in English and German (mandatory)
- Track record of selling over the phone with a history of exceeding sales goals
- Account Management experience a plus
- Required Skills: Build and nurture relationships, strong perseverance and follow-up skills, excellent written, verbal, and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, proficient with Microsoft Office
Benefits
At Finastra, we offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
