We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to join our team in Lisboa. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for expanding our market presence in Europe and the Middle East through business development strategies, strategic partnerships, and lead generation.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to make a significant impact on our company's growth and success. You will work closely with our production, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of business strategies and drive sales performance by achieving and exceeding revenue targets.

The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a deep understanding of the agri-business landscape and a proactive approach to market development. You will be fluent in English and have a strong proficiency in other languages such as Arabic, Portuguese, or French.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute business development strategies to increase market share in Europe and the Middle East
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with distributors, retailers, and growers
- Conduct market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
- Drive sales performance by achieving and exceeding revenue targets
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and supply agreements with key stakeholders
- Build strong relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and business partners

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, International Trade, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial management within the agricultural sector (preferably with horticulture, fresh produce, or seed companies)
- Proven track record of expanding market reach and driving revenue growth in international markets, particularly in the Middle East and Europe
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with agricultural supply chains, B2B sales, and distribution models
- Ability to work independently and travel frequently across target regions
- Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages (such as Arabic, Portuguese, or French) is a plus
