About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Vietnamese LQA Specialist to join our Localization Quality Assurance team. As a Localization QA Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of localized games, working closely with a global project team to identify and correct language errors, cultural inconsistencies, and other issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a global project team to ensure the accuracy and quality of localized games.
  • Identify and correct language errors, cultural inconsistencies, and other issues.
  • Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
  • Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
  • Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects.

Our Localization QA team performs language checks on a range of yet-to-be-released games for a variety of platforms, including PC, Xbox One, PS5, Wii, PS Vita, DS, Switch, VR, and various mobile and tablet devices. As a Localization QA Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on top gaming titles for some of the world's leading publishers.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Vietnamese and English.
  • Strong cultural understanding of the language you are applying for.
  • Computer literacy – particularly with Excel.
  • Robust Internet research skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.
  • Be able to provide evidence of Right to Work in Portugal.

Working Conditions:

  • On-Site in our Studio in Braga, Portugal.
  • 8:00 to 17:00, Mondays through Fridays.
  • For part-time and freelance, you will be required to work minimum 4 hours between 8:00 to 17:00, Mondays through Fridays (Portugal Time Zone).

Remote Work:

  • Only Freelancers are allowed to work remotely. Full-time and part-time employment contract are required to work on-site in Braga, Portugal.
