About the Role

We are looking for a Remote German LQA Specialist to join our Localization Quality Assurance team. The successful candidate will work on a range of games for various platforms, including PC, Xbox One, PS5, Wii, PS Vita, DS, Switch, VR, and mobile devices. As a Localization QA Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of localized games.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a global project team to ensure the quality of localized games.
  • Identify and correct language errors, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and cultural inconsistencies.
  • Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
  • Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
  • Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
  • Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
  • Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation.

Requirements

  • Fluency in German and English.
  • No experience required, as we provide training and support.
  • Strong cultural understanding of the language.
  • Computer literacy, particularly with Excel.
  • Robust Internet research skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.
