About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Japanese LQA Specialist to join our Localization Quality Assurance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of Japanese language translations in our games.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with a global project team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Identifying and correcting language errors, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes.
- Ensuring adherence to console manufacturer guidelines and maintaining consistency in terminology and imagery.
- Logging details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions, and writing reports on errors and bugs found.
- Overseeing the quality of your work, collaborating with the team, and contributing to the overall success of projects.
As a Japanese LQA Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on top gaming titles for some of the world's leading publishers, utilizing your language skills and attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of our games.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Fluency in Japanese and English.
- Strong cultural understanding of the Japanese language and culture.
- Computer literacy, particularly with Excel.
- Robust Internet research skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.
