About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ukrainian LQA Specialist to join our Localization Quality Assurance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of localized games for our clients. Your expertise in Ukrainian language and culture will be essential in identifying and correcting grammatical errors, cultural inconsistencies, and other language-related issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a global project team to ensure seamless localization processes.
  • Identify and correct language errors, ensuring adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
  • Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
  • Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
  • Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
  • Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation.
  • Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects.
Requirements
  • Fluency in Ukrainian and English.
  • Strong cultural understanding of the language you are applying for.
  • Computer literacy – particularly with Excel.
  • Robust Internet research skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.
  • You must be able to provide evidence of your right to work in Portugal. If you are located outside Portugal, a freelance contract will be applied.
What We Offer
  • €14, gross annual salary (Full Time). Part-time and freelance rates are pro-rata based on the hourly rate.
  • € 6 per working day in meal allowance (For full-time and pro-rate for part-time employees).
