The Specialist, Client Services role involves supporting Innovation Funding Business Development Directors and Principals by driving lead generation, managing client relationships, and facilitating the development of tailored tax relief solutions for clients. This requires working closely with prospects and clients in areas like Grants, Capital Allowance, Energy Tax Relief, R&D tax credits, and Patent Box schemes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, contact, and qualify potential leads through cold calls, emails, and outreach.
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline, ensuring all leads are nurtured and moved toward closure.
- Confidently present innovative funding solutions, highlighting the value and benefits of tax relief services.
- Negotiate terms and pricing with clients, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients for ongoing engagement and cross-sell opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tax legislation changes, and innovations in grants and R&D funding to engage effectively.
- Provide regular updates on sales activities, prospects, and pipeline progress to the VP of Operations and Business Development team.
- Collaborate closely with Business Development Directors and teams to create and execute targeted sales campaigns.
Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with 1-2 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM, and Internet research is necessary.
