Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced AP Team Operations Manager to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a key member of our Accounting Services department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Accounts Payable process, working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the AP team, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs within the AP function.
  • Collaborate with internal customers to identify and resolve issues related to AP processes and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure compliance with finance policies and procedures.
  • Supervise vendor statement reconciliations and investigate blocking invoice issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in a commercial or industrial environment involving tight deadlines.
  • Team management experience, with a proven ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or similar accounting systems, with a strong desire to develop further.

Estimated Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
