As an AP Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of AP professionals, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing, managing vendor relationships, and implementing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Accounts Payable team for Airbus Defence and Space Division, fostering motivation, addressing challenges, communicating the GBS management strategy, and inspiring personal and professional development.
  • Validate recommendations and lead implementation on Accounts Payable policies and procedures.
  • Analyse and resolve escalated back office issues related to AP applications.
  • Plan and lead strategic planning for both immediate and future back office application needs.
  • Validate and lead update department standard operating procedures.
  • Serve as escalation level for highly confidential and/or highly sensitive process-related issues.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 7 years' professional experience in a commercial or industrial environment with tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated leadership in resolving or escalating issues, team building, training, and team support.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and coordinate multiple tasks and communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
  • Promotes a "speak-up" culture.
  • Interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Digital Mindset.
  • Proven ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Rigorous and analytical with ability to follow and apply strict processes and internal controls.
  • Fluent in English with the ability to interact with native speakers.
  • AP/AR strong expertise and a graduate of a Business school.
